Other names: Black Moonstone, Spectrolite

Color: Greyish to black, yellow

Appearance: Dark or grey until catches light, then iridescent blue, gold, reddish or purple flashes. Yellow form is transparent.

Source: Readily available – Italy, Greenland, Finland, Russia, Canada, Scandinavia

Composition: Feldspar; Silicates; Triclinic Crystal System; Hardness = 6-6.5
